Fees and charges
If you are applying to access the Water Grid Manager's information under the Right to Information Act 2009, you may, depending on the nature of your application, need to pay an application fee, access or processing charges.
For accessing non-personal information
If you are applying for access to information that does not contain personal information, or contains a combination of personal and non-personal information, you must pay an initial $38 application fee.
This fee must be paid before your application will be processed.
In addition to the application fee, you may be charged for the following:
- processing charges - if your application takes longer than five hours to process ($5.80 for each 15 minutes or part thereof)
- access charges - the actual costs incurred by our organisation in granting you access to a document; includes costs associated with retrieval, relocation, transcription of recordings, photocopying (20 cents per black and white photocopied page) or, alternatively, for providing documents in electronic format on compact disc.
For accessing personal information
If you are only applying for access to personal information, either in relation to yourself or on behalf of another person, you do not need to pay an application fee, but access charges may apply.
The access charges are those actual costs incurred by our organisation in granting you access to a document; including costs associated with retrieval, relocation, transcription of recordings, photocopying (20 cents per black and white photocopied page) or, alternatively, for providing documents in electronic format on compact disc.
For amending personal information
If you are applying under the Information Privacy Act 2009 to amend your personal information, you do not need to pay an application fee or access charges.
Payment
Payment of the application fee ($38) and any other charges are to be by either cheque or money order made payable to the 'SEQ Water Grid Manager'.
